Okay. Something a little different from me. This is a photo of an oil painting that I did quite a few years back. Actually it's so old it's still got my maiden name on it!
I guess that wanted to prove that I can do something other than Digital Artworks and that I do have a small amount of artistic talent
It was one of my first paintings that I ever did and it looks surprisingly good from a distance. Up close you can see where I've played with it a bit too much and the paint has become 'muddy'. For some reason I found it hard to whack a good layer of paint on. I'd tend to stretch my paint too far, but I guess it's something to be overcome in time.
So yeah! There it is

LOL! Well, I wouldn't consider myself a painter I did do that when I was taking an oil painting class. Unfortunately I never continued with it. Life got in the way. Plus I didn't have the space to set myself up at home. One day I'll have my own studio (shed/room) and I'll get back into it

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
